The “Daughters of Greatness” breakfast series honors prominent women engaged in social philanthropy, activism, and pursuits of justice.  

Deborah Jiang-Stein, skilled storyteller, author, and founder of the unPrison Project, shares a one-of-a-kind story of adversity, triumph, transformation, and healing. She’s a national speaker and the founder of The unPrison Project, a 501(c)3 nonprofit working to empower incarcerated women and girls with life skills and mentoring to prepare for successful life after prison. Deborah is the author ofWomen Behind Bars (Shebooks,) the collected interviews of incarcerated women, and the memoir, Prison Baby (Beacon Press) described as “One woman’s struggles—beginning with her birth in prison—to find self-acceptance, proving that redemption and healing are possible even from the darkest corners.”
