City of Ali,” a documentary that examines how the death of Muhammad Ali in June 2016 brought the people of his hometown of Louisville together for one memorable week. Following a World Premiere at the Ali Center on June 3, the  five-year anniversary of Ali’s death, community screenings of the film will take place throughout the week at the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, as part of the annual Ali Festival. The community event, which celebrates Muhammad’s legacy, will take place June 3-13.

The 8o-minute film, which is directed by Graham Shelby and produced by Jonathan McHugh (“Long Live Rock… Celebrate the Chaos”), features interviews from Lonnie Ali, Asaad Ali, Rahman Ali, Rasheda Ali, Mayor Greg Fischer, members of the Muhammad Ali Center, as well as many national figures.
